Meet Nicole
Adventure Guide & International Trip Leader
When a "fun 6-month summer job", turns into a guiding career over 10 years later.
Five days after graduating from college I moved to Juneau, Alaska to work as a sea kayaking guide for the summer. I had always wanted to work in Alaska and I figured there was no better time than after finishing university and before starting a "real job" (or so I thought).
Flash forward to 10 years later and I've guided 3-week backpacking trips on the famous John Muir Trail, Rim2Rim backpacking trips in the Grand Canyon, multi-day kayaking trips through the Norwegian Fjords, trekking trips in Bhutan's Himalayan Mountains, hut to hut trips in Italy's Dolomites and far beyond.

Impact Matters
We believe that travel should be a force for good. That's why every Can't Sit Still adventure is designed to support the communities we visit. We prioritize hiring local guides, staying in family-owned accommodations, and partnering with regional artisans to ensure that the economic benefits of tourism stay exactly where they belong—with the local people who make these places special.
Our commitment to responsible tourism is rooted in strict leave-no-trace ethics. Whether we are trekking through the Himalayan peaks or kayaking pristine fjords, we work tirelessly to minimize our environmental footprint. By educating our guests on sustainable practices and supporting conservation efforts, we aim to preserve these breathtaking natural landscapes for generations of adventurers to come.
